In explores/segments table view is the default view but when a user wants to plot a chart the user will generally click on the chart section and click on save and plot. From a user perspective that will be correct but the desired results will not be produced as the checkbox Make Chart View Default is not checked.
An improvement here could be unless and until the user does not check the chart view default option the plot and save button should be disabled.

On doing Plot and Save, then chart view is automatically made default. Linking the checkbox to the plot and save button may increase confusion. Thanks.
